Very good game that suffers from one flaw : it’s way too short. Having played the Demo during Nextfest, and again right before launch, I felt like the demo was about 50% of the game in terms of content. The levels are well designed, classic in their progression yet very efficient at introducing new gameplay mechanics one at a time. The game is expectedly a little bit grindy, as the incremental/upgrade based nature of the game suggests. Even then, the game can be beaten without getting all upgrades, so most of the real big grind is postgame and optional. As other reviews have mentioned, a simple yet effective way to help with both issues would be the addition of some prestige mechanic, letting you reset after the boss with a bonus (either simple or an entire bonus tree). This would help with the later grind and give some much-needed replayability to the game. That being said, when the worst thing one has to say about a game is that it’s too short, and didn’t feel like it overstayed its welcome either, that means gameplay, presentation and overall fun were pretty good. For the amount of time needed to finish it, even considering a full 100% achievements run, it’s not gonna take you all that long. So YMMV on whether it’s good at its current price or not. That being said, if you see it on sale for a lower price and like incremental games and the satisfaction of cleaning (think Powerwash Simulator-like), I’d recommend togo for it. It’s a good game and a nice time.
